Hello, I’m Evan Kirchner, the face behind Kiirchu! I’m an animator and illustrator based out of Cincinnati, OH. I am currently a second year Games and Animation major at the University of Cincinnati DAAP School of Art.

From a young age, I had a feeling that I would be in an animation adjacent field. A core memory of my childhood was watching the short commercial segments on Nickelodeon of Butch Hartman making a bouncing ball animation using a stack of Post-It notes as a flipbook. Learning how easy it can be to make images move unlocked a pathway of creativity.

Create.

My goal is to spread my love of creating to others. Whether it’s through my solo endeavors, large-team projects, or even teaching, the world needs art and innovation. I plan to keep that goal moving one creation at a time.

I am always interested in new work and projects to dip my toes into! Contact me if you ever so please!
